I had a great idea for this years Christmas pictures...lets go to the beach! I've been wanting to do beach pictures w/ the kids for a while so off we go w/ HIGH expectations!!! I mean, I do beach weddings all the time and love them so lets go for it! We get there and then I remember, when you put together kids, sand, water and wind and then let them go and do their thing, well you get kids with sand on their bottoms and because they get in the water the wind makes them freezing! So as I am shooting I am NOT happy with my results. Then I get home and I take a minute to remember what my job really was when I went out there. Was it to just get an awesome Christmas card picture? No! It wasn't! My job was to get a picture that years from now, I will look back at my babies and think man I can barely remember them that little! That is the point! And that is what I got...pictures of my kids at 3, 6, and 14 walking hand in hand on the beach...PERFECT!!!!
